July Update

Aloha everyone! We are sorry it took so long for any updates, this is a short sampling of what we've been up to. Due to some land issues, we have been moving our fences, shop, and basically starting over with the farm. Although things seem frustrating or unfair we must always remember that this world is temporary, and God is sovereign! Its tempting to complain and retaliate when wronged but the scriptures are clear "do nothing with grumbling and complaining," and "vengeance is Mine, declares the Lord." We've been pretty busy with putting up a new building due to two faithful brothers donating money for materials. This building serves as a meeting place for the church, and a space to do farm work. CROOKed C Ranch's orange season ended, our old dog 'blossom' died, our land has changed, and a group of new calves were born, which brings about a new season begin.

We continue our ministries, Sunday Worship, Thursday Bible Study (we are going through "The School of Biblical Evangelism" book), Friday Family Youth Night (FFYN), Art class, Teen night, Baseball Study (using the book, "Upside Down Kingdom"), Baseball for all ages, Young Adult bible study, and Men's study and prayer. The old vans are still running ok, and God always provides funding for food one way or another.

I (Josh) coached the public high school baseball team again this year and tried to minister to a new group of young men. We also ran Little League for the 8th year and met a lot of great new people along the way. I think the most impactful ministry that involved sports was our Purpose Ministries Summer League baseball 18u team. I was able to minister to the young people including some young ladies. This is exciting because we have been praying for a female focused ministry. God brought us four young ladies and also another lady who is interested in leading a women's bible study and prayer. Please keep this in your prayers, since this is new territory for us and somewhat difficult mixing both sexes and keeping an eye on everyone. We would love for you to praise God with us as one of these young ladies recently surrendered her life to the Lordship of Jesus and we baptized her as she 'called on the name of the Lord'.

Please continue to pray for us as we are trying to use all means necessary to reach the lost, and encourage those in the faith, all while glorifying God in our lives. We are always fighting against financial burdens which hinders us from branching out even farther but still trust in God is sovereignty. If your so moved to partake in this work of these ministries, it would be much appreciated. Here a list of our financial needs;

Food - feeding the kids (average of 40 people) 3 times a week ($1000 a month)

Gas- we drive the vans constantly ($600 a month)

Sports equipment - gloves, balls ($7 each), jerseys, league fees....

We thank God for all of you that have kept this ministry going. We are thankful for the financial support, the prayers, and help we have received.
